Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City is seeking a part-time CNA for a float pool unit. This posting represents a 0.6 FTE, day shift opening (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with rotating weekends and two 12-hour shifts per week.

The CNA provides direct patient care under an RN, assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, measuring vital signs, collecting specimens, and aiding mobility with safe handling devices.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Experience in hospital or long-term setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
