Job summary

Avenues Home Care in Nashville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care to elderly and vulnerable clients in the Nashville area, including communities such as Belle Meade, Green Hills, Franklin, and Smyrna.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and companionship, while documenting activities and reporting to your supervisor. A CNA license is preferred; training available.

Qualifications

• Good communication abilities for effective client interaction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments as provided.
• Proficiency with Homecare Management System ClearCare.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist with medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, shopping, and transportation to appointments.
• Provide companionship and report daily activity to supervisor via the agency system and logs.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
