Zusammenfassung

Compassionate Care Hospice (CCH), an Amedisys Company, is seeking a Home Health Aide based in The Villages, FL. The position requires daily travel within the assigned territory and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

You will provide personal care, assist with meals and homemaking, observe patient status, and follow care plans set by a registered nurse. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, wellness rewards, and PTO are offered.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to perform personal care tasks (ambulation, transfers, positioning, and homemaking).
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status; reports to the primary nurse as needed.
• Follows written instructions for care prepared by a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist.
• Performs simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$18-$19 hourly. Final compensation may vary based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to the performance of specific techniques of personal and supportive care such as ambulation of clients, transferring clients, assisting with the normal range of motion and positioning, and doing household chores.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals, assists with feeding, as assigned.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
• Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the primary nurse.
• Follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care. Written instructions are to be received prior to the delivery of services.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
