Job summary

MediLodge of GTC in Traverse City, MI is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential daily living support to residents under supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate care, timely response to resident needs, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Assist residents with turning, positioning, and ambulation for short distances.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
