Addus HomeCare in the United States is offering an entry-level CNA role focused on compassionate in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position emphasizes flexible hours, safety protocols, and opportunities to learn the essentials of quality home care within a growing industry leader.

As an Addus CNA, you will follow care plans, assist with personal care and daily tasks, and help transport clients to appointments while reporting changes in condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation, required for member transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• Comfortable using an electronic device

Responsabilités

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
