Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care. The role emphasizes following care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting clients in a respectful, confidential manner. Training is provided where needed to meet state requirements.

The position welcomes caregivers who can work with limited supervision, maintain reliability, and commute to client locations in the area. Daily pay options are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or equivalent certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment physical and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans for clients and report on tasks completed.
• Assist with basic personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine household tasks such as meal prep and light cleaning.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision as required.
• Observe client condition changes and report promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to meet department needs.
• Comply with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
