Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care and skilled nursing team. You will support ADLs, monitor vital signs, and contribute to individualized care plans for geriatric and rehabilitation residents.

Reporting to the RN/LPN Team Leader, you will collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure dignity, comfort, and safety while maintaining HIPAA standards and resident rights in a busy care setting.

Qualifications

• Active State CNA license in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years CNA experience in LTC or SNF.
• Strong interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills.
• Genuine passion for geriatric and rehabilitation care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, feeding, skin care and ambulation.
• Accurately measure and report vital signs, weights, and daily fluid I&O to the supervising RN/LPN.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to execute plans of care and report changes promptly.
• Adhere to Universal Precautions and safety protocols to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA) and orient residents and families to the facility.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and patient-centered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. Reporting directly to the RN/LPN Team Leader, you will assist with implementing comprehensive resident care plans. This role focuses on supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, and fostering a dignified, comfortable, and supportive environment for long-term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist residents with routine daily activities including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, feeding, skin care, and ambulation.
• Vital Signs & Monitoring: Accurately measure and promptly report vital signs, weights, and daily fluid intake and output (I&O) to the supervising RN/LPN.
• Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing team to execute individual plans of care, promptly reporting any changes in resident condition or behavior.
• Infection Control & Safety: Adhere strictly to Universal Precautions, safety protocols, and facility procedures to ensure a clean and secure environment.
• Resident & Family Support: Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA), support resident rights, and assist with orienting residents and their families to the facility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education & Credentials:

  • Active State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in good standing [Required].

• Clinical Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of clinical CNA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) [Required].

Shift & Schedule Details:
