Job summary

PACIFIC CARE NURSING CENTER in Long Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our full-time team. The role includes evenings with weekend requirements, and responsibilities such as assisting residents with daily activities, documenting care, and reporting changes to licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be currently certified as CNA in accordance with state laws.
• Experience in skilled nursing is preferred.
• Must possess ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts when applicable.
• Report significant changes in resident’s condition to a LVN/RN as soon as practical.
• Assist residents with daily oral care, bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding as directed.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as indicated.
• Turn and position residents and assist with transfers as needed.
• Maintain a warm, respectful environment and report hazards or incidents.
