Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift in our Assisted Living department. The role emphasizes daily care, personal hygiene, grooming, and skin care for residents, under licensed nurse supervision.

Required: High School diploma or GED, state-approved CNA program completion, and active CNA certification. Excellent listening and communication skills, plus basic computer use, are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED is required.
• Successful completion of a state approved C.N.A. program.
• Possess an active C.N.A. certification.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA performs hands-on nursing care for residents with emphasis on daily care needs, personal hygiene and cleanliness, grooming and skin care.
• Assists with daily living activities and reports changes to supervising staff.
