Job summary

United Methodist Communities' assisted living and skilled nursing teams in New Jersey are seeking a per diem CNA. Earn $24.00 per hour base, with a $4 weekend differential, $2 night differential, and $1 evening differential.

You can pick shifts you want and expect a response within 48 hours of applying. You will assist residents with daily living, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, document care provided, and perform wellness checks.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CNA certification from the NJ Department of Health in good standing
• 6 months of experience in a nursing home or assisted living community
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to talk with residents and nurses in English and read care plans

Responsibilities

• Pick up shifts that fit your schedule across our assisted living and skilled nursing communities
• Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines
• Provide care in accordance with individualized service plans and maintain accurate records of assistance provided
• Conduct routine resident wellness checks and respond promptly to care needs throughout the day
• Assist with dining support, safe transfers, and the use of mobility aids as needed
• Communicate observations and resident status updates to the nursing team to help ensure quality care
