Job summary

Avantara Mountain View in Rapid City, SD seeks Certified Nursing Assistants to join a friendly, caring team. This role supports daily living activities for residents, with 2pm–10:30pm shifts and opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules, including every other weekend and differential pay for evenings and overnights.

New hires receive training and development support in a supportive environment, with benefits and pathways for internal growth within Avantara Mountain View.

Qualifications

• Valid SD CNA license in good standing.
• Experience preferred but not required; willingness to train the right candidate.
• Ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and monitor resident condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and ensure safety.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report to the clinical team.
• Support the clinical department to provide high-quality care and maintain a clean, safe environment.

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA training course. Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Mountain View by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
