Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a CNA for the Nursing Float Pool on a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Evening position. The role involves floating between 5 medical/surgical units and 2 critical care units, assisting with direct and indirect patient care under an RN, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include CNA certification in Washington, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement and offers a competitive

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care as delegated by the RN.
• Perform basic nursing assistant tasks and measurements (vital signs, CPR, dressings).
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, eating, grooming, and mobility.
• Maintain unit supplies and document relevant patient data.
• Provide clerical support on the unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
