Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, documenting vital signs, and supporting mobility and activity participation in a compassionate, respectful manner. Candidates must hold a valid CNA license, be able to communicate in English, and possess basic computer skills for charting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Empathy and ability to relate to elderly residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under licensed nurse direction.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of resident information and dignity of residents.
• Assist with admission, discharge, bathing, oral care, and feeding as required.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and height; report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activity participation.
• Prepare residents for meals, serve trays, and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain room cleanliness and organize resident rooms daily.
• Complete required documentation of care and services.
