Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living in Plymouth, MI is seeking a dynamic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care and everyday support in our community. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help residents maintain dignity and comfort under supervision.

The role requires Michigan CNA certification and a one-year certificate or equivalent training; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification in Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents’ needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Drapes residents for examinations and treatments and assists during procedures.
• Turns and repositions residents to prevent bedsores.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors and answers telephone.
• Takes and records vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assists with laundry and housekeeping duties.
• Dusts and cleans residents’ rooms.
