Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living in Rochester, MI is seeking a dynamic Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our caring team. The CNA will support residents with daily activities, monitor health needs, and assist with meals and mobility to promote comfort and safety.

Applicants must have a Michigan CNA certification and a one-year program or equivalent. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, with strong teamwork and compassion for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum CNA-related education or certification as required by Michigan.
• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Assists with examinations and treatments and remains with residents as needed.
• Turns and repositions residents to prevent bedsores.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.
• Takes and records vital signs and monitors intake and output as directed.
• Assists with laundry and housekeeping duties.
• Dusts and cleans residents’ rooms.
