Qualifications

• CNA certification required in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents’ needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents needing help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Drapes residents for examinations and treatments and assists with instruments and lighting.
• Turns and repositions residents to prevent bedsores.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, answers telephone.
• Takes and records vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assists with laundry and housekeeping; dusts and cleans residents’ rooms.
