Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 100-hour CNA training preferred.
• One year nurse’s aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition.
• Assist residents to dining room as needed and assist with meals.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities.
• Listen to residents and report observations promptly to Director, if appropriate.
• Participate in in-service programs to expand and develop abilities.
• Set a good example for residents and other staff by appearance, conduct and interest in job.
• Maintain compliance to all policies and regulations and standards.
• Understand and implement fire safety and disaster preparedness plans and evacuation procedures.
• Be dependable and meet schedule requirements with punctuality.
