Franklin General Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Emergency Department Registration Specialist for a full-time night schedule in Iowa. This role combines direct patient care with ED registration duties to ensure smooth, compassionate service during admissions and care processes.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa CNA certification required.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Previous healthcare registration experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide basic nursing care under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Support restorative care and promote patient comfort and independence.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Cross-train and assist with Emergency Department and Hospital patient registration.
• Management of EMS call process.
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
