Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Driver - Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to safely operate company shuttle, van, or other vehicle for assigned communities. You will transport residents to authorized locations and provide CNA care if medical attention is needed during transport.

Responsibilities include safe transportation, assisting residents, maintaining vehicle safety and documentation, and participating in defensive driving training.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Chauffer’s License.
• Must have valid state driver’s license.
• Must have satisfactory, safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation services for assigned communities.
• Assists residents to enter and exit vehicle safely.
• Safely secures residents’ wheelchairs to restraints to stabilize during trips.
• Keeps vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Report resident medical issues in a timely manner.
• Attend annual defensive driving training and hands-on transport training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
