Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Group is seeking a CNA Driver/Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to medical appointments and assist with daily care. You will provide direct CNA care and ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity during transport and daily activities.

Responsibilities include helping residents in/out of vehicles, securing equipment, and maintaining logs. A valid Florida CNA license and driver’s license with a clean record are required; prior skilled nursing or long-term

Qualifications

Active CNA license in Florida.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport residents to appointments, hospitals, and approved destinations.
Assist residents entering/exiting vehicles, including wheelchair/stretcher transfer.
Secure residents and mobility equipment during transport.
Monitor residents in transit and report changes to nursing staff.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic inspections; report maintenance issues.
Complete transportation logs accurately.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility transfers.
Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly.
Follow infection control and facility policies at all times.
