Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in our Sugar Land facility. The role supports daily nursing tasks, follows individualized care plans, and assists patients with routine needs while promoting safety and independence.

You will work with nursing staff to monitor patient conditions, document changes, and participate in in-service education to uphold quality care and positive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assigned patients per care plans and safety procedures.
• Document patient activities and observations per policies.
• Promote patient independence and quality of life.
• Communicate patient status and care concerns to the Charge Nurse at shift start and end.
• Observe and document patient conditions and relevant information.
