Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and support safety and comfort across shifts.

In this on-site role in Texas, you will document care activities, follow care plans, and collaborate with the nursing team to promote independence and quality of life for residents.

Qualifikationen

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care per care plans, safety procedures, and regulations.
• Document patient care activities and observations as required.
• Promote independence and quality of life where possible.
• Communicate patient status updates to the Charge Nurse at shift start and end.
• Observe patient conditions and document observations as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment.
• Follow safe lifting, positioning, transferring procedures.
• Ensure care equipment and devices are clean, functional, and charged.
• Participate in in-service education and training.
• Perform incidental housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Serve as a team leader supporting safety and quality initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
