Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing in Sioux Falls is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct resident care in a rotating schedule. The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and support families while maintaining high standards of care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• CNA licensing must be in the practicing state within 120 days.
• Must understand and follow safety, infection control, and privacy policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine nursing duties as directed, including bathing, dressing, and transfers.
• Measures and documents vital signs and patient information.
• Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Offers emotional and spiritual support to families and patients.
