Job summary

PACE, a member of Empath Health in Pinellas Park, FL, seeks a compassionate CNA-Dietary Aide to support ADC participants with meals, menu planning, and safe kitchen operations. You will follow directions from the Center Manager and assist with ADLs and supervision as needed.

You will manage kitchen inventory, educate staff on diets, ensure sanitary standards, and oversee daily kitchen operations while maintaining safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Current Florida CNA license is required or in process.
• Experience as a kitchen aide with coursework in food preparation or nutrition is helpful.

• Independently manage daily kitchen operations.

Job description

PACE, a member of Empath Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented CNA-Dietary Aide to join our interdisciplinary PACE team in Pinellas Park, FL. In this role, the CNA-Dietary Aide will promote and follow all dietary policies and procedures to assist in menu planning, recipe revision and standardization, patient food selection and portion control. Additionally, the CNA-Dietary Aide will provide services to meet the care needs of ADC participants as coordinated with the Center Manager.

What You'll Need

• High School degree or Equivalent.
• Current CNA License for the State of Florida.
• Previous experience as a kitchen aide and completed coursework in food preparation, nutrition or nutrition education helpful.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certified, or gain certification within 6 months of employment.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
