Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support clinical staff to ensure comfort and safety.

The role runs days, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, every other weekend. A NYS CNA certification is required; a High School Diploma or GED and patient care or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• NYS CNA certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with patient care and customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with ADLs (morning/evening care, bathing, grooming).
• Record vital signs and blood glucose; report abnormal findings.
• Prepare rooms for admission, transfer, discharge, or emergencies.
• Assist with meals and nourishment; encourage hydration.
• Support nursing staff by responding to call bells and restocking rooms.
• Document care in EMR/Point Click Care with accuracy.
