The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan serves as caregiver to residents during the day shift at Canistota facility in Canistota, SD, under RN supervision. Responsibilities include basic nursing care, daily living assistance, infection control, and documenting vitals and care provided.

Joining full-time staff, you will participate in meals, activities, and wellness programs, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $2.50/hr location premium, and a 40-hour workweek on a day shift with every other

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required and provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
