Job summary

PACS is revolutionizing post-acute healthcare nationwide, seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under the supervision of nurses. This role supports residents across care plans, ensuring timely interventions and compassionate service.

You will identify residents with wristbands, document accurately, report changes, and assist with daily activities while maintaining a calm and respectful environment that protects resident privacy.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries in flow sheets and notes in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information, including protected health information.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and coordinate with staff.
