Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a CNA scheduling and field staffing coordinator to ensure timely, accurate patient visits and staffing. The role supports high-quality hospice care by coordinating CNAs, maintaining daily schedules, and assisting with new-hire orientations.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, communicate clearly, and can work independently within a growing national hospice provider. Experience in hospice or healthcare administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Comfort with computer applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive callouts from CNA field staff and reassign patient visits as needed.
• Ensure daily schedule of patients is complete and updated in the database; assist with staffing assignments.
• Respond to inquiries from families, CNAs, and referral sources; provide support and education as needed.
• Assist in orientation for new CNA field staff and participate in weekly supervisor meetings.
• Review and export visits for documentation and timecards; report to supervisor weekly.

• Receive callouts from CNA field staff and reassign patient visits as needed
• Ensure that the daily schedule of patients is complete and updated in database. Assist with staffing assignments for new admissions and scheduling as needed/directed by supervisor.
• Respond to phone calls from all disciplines, family members and referral sources to assist with concerns or general CNA related questions. Follow up with staff to provide support and education as needed.
• Assist with the preparation and facilitation of new-hire orientations for all CNA field staff
• Complete weekly reports which will be addressed in a weekly meeting with direct supervisor
• Assist in reviewing and exporting all visits in our database, communicating with CNAs in reference to their documentation and timecards and then reporting this information to supervisor weekly.
• Assist in field as needed
• Ability to work well within a team environment but also able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior hospice experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong familiarity with computer applications and spreadsheets
• Leadership experience preferred
