Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba, MI is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care under supervision. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, and safety, in a supportive, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in good standing or graduate of an approved program with competency exam within 120 days of employment.
• Meets all state and federal background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and changes in condition; report observations to licensed staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to facility procedures.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
