Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily personal care to residents in accordance with assessments and care plans. The role requires compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to the facility’s procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting residents with activities and meals. Alabama CNA certification is required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid CNA certification in Alabama or obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• Experience as a CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and ADL care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Keeps residents' rooms and care areas clean and neat.
• Documents care as instructed and required.
• Reports changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Monitors vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration and reports changes.
• Assists in transporting residents to dining, therapy, activity and social programs.
• Encourages residents to participate in activity programs and assists as needed.
• Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents as necessary.
• Serves meals and assists with feeding.
• Responds to call lights and resident requests promptly.
• Performs other duties as directed.
