Job summary

Lutheran Homes Of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant at Heritage at Lowman Nursing Center in Chapin, SC. The role focuses on delivering compassionate direct care to residents, preserving dignity and privacy while following each resident’s plan of care.

You will perform ADLs, monitor residents' conditions, document observations, and support meals and hydration. The job requires teamwork and strong communication in a busy long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program and current certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per resident care plans (ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation).
• Record vital signs, monitor changes, document care and responses.
• Offer warmth, respond to calls, assist with meals and hydration.
• Maintain safe, clean environment; report defects and hazards.
• Follow HIPAA privacy rules; attend trainings.
• Transport residents safely and assist mobility.
• Other duties as needed.
