Job summary

Tanglewood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate daily care to residents in a full-time hourly role. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team to maintain high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position requires Kansas CNA certification, completion of approved training, and the ability to work closely with residents and families in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification recognized by Kansas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety standards.
• Able to pass a background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs per nursing staff instructions.
• Provide mobility assistance and reposition bedridden residents to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols and facility policies.
• Support nursing staff with procedures and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
