Job summary

Noland Health Services in Bessemer, AL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily personal care to residents in accordance with their care plans.

The successful candidate will perform ADL care, document care activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff. Alabama CNA certification required or obtained within 120 days of hire; prior CNA experience preferred. This is an on-site, full-time role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Performs activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Documents care as instructed and required.
• Monitors and reports patient condition to nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and ADL care to residents.
• Keeps resident rooms and care areas clean and neat.
• Orientation of new residents to facility.
• Documents care as instructed.
• Reports changes in resident condition to charge nurse.
• Checks residents to ensure needs are met.
• Assists with transportation to dining, therapy, activities.
• Monitors vital signs and reports changes.
• Encourages participation in activities.
• Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures.
• Assists with lifting and positioning of residents.
• Serves meals and assists with feeding.
• Responds to call lights promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
