Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care in a compassionate setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on resident-directed care and dignity, assisting with ADLs and participating in care planning.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, documenting care, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment while supporting residents’ choices and independence.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in MO, IL; PA registry enrollment within 120 days of program completion (if applicable).
• Desire to join a person-centered care team.
• Ability to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and provide ADL care under scope of practice; respond to call lights and report observations to the nurse.
• Assist residents with personal care and encourage independence where possible.
• Observe residents for changing needs and report to nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assist during mealtimes and feed residents needing full assistance.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Support resident involvement in daily activity decisions and assist as needed.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Keep environment clean and safe.
