Job summary

Crestway Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will participate in shift reports and assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, and mobility aids.

The role requires completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide program and current listing on the state registry. Strong communication with residents and staff is essential; prior CNA experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to read and write; communicate with residents and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty.
• Assists residents with care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry and changes linens when soiled.
• Changes bed linens and keeps them wrinkle-free.
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied).
