Job summary

Regency at Canton, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities in a Michigan skilled-nursing environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, document care, and collaborate with nurses to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Must be State Tested Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of a state approved CNA program.
• Registered in the state nurse aide registry or eligible for entry within 120 days of employment.
• Basic computer skills to document care and complete required records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output per directions.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to call lights and report observations to licensed staff promptly.
• Maintain safety, comfort and dignity while supporting independence.
