Qualifications

• Must hold a valid certified nursing assistant license.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical exposure during training.

• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and the public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff.
• Must be patient, cheerful, and capable of handling residents at varying maturity levels.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, full, and reachable.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.
