Carle Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in patient care. The role includes assisting with hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care, comfort, and mobility, while maintaining safety and documentation.

Training aligns with Carle’s HCT program, and prior CNA experience is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a strong team-based environment at facilities in central Illinois.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• High School Diploma or GED
• CNA coursework completed within past 24 months
• At least one nursing clinical experience
• CNA certification held
• Worked as CNA within past 24 months

Responsabilités

• Assist with hygiene needs (AM/PM care, oral/denture care, perineal care, bathing).
• Distribute and set up meals; record intake and provide feeding as needed.
• Assist with elimination needs; manage Foley care, bowel/bladder activities; record output.
• Provide skin care including turning, positioning, and prevention of breakdown.
• Perform measurements (I&O, vitals, weight) and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge.
• Maintain safe environment and ensure supplies; respond promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Document timely and accurately; assist with equipment setup and room readiness.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication to support patient satisfaction.
