Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of Alabama Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained through the American Red Cross within 30 Days Required.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by answering call lights and providing nourishment between meals.
• Protects healthcare organization value by keeping information confidential and following policy.
• Adheres to professional standards, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Assists residents with routine health directions and mobility as directed by clinicians.
• Maintains education as assigned in Healthstream and hospital requirements.
• Regular and prompt attendance and schedules as defined, with overtime as required.
• Communicates in a professional manner and reports changes to nurses timely.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
