Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will support basic daily living activities, assist with transfers and vital signs, and help with meals and psychosocial support under RN supervision.

Applicants should have a CNA certification or be in process, maintain competency credits, and meet state requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role in Syracuse, NE with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification either currently held or in process with facility support.
• Continuing education: 12 hours annually and competency testing.
• UAP Registry where applicable and Sanford Driving Policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, transfer, mobility, and vital signs.
• Support meals, dining, and recreation activities and document care.

Education
