Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility. The role runs 2:00pm–10:15pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays, under RN supervision.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team while ensuring infection control practices and patient comfort. Eligible for benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required within four months of start, provided by facility.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, vital signs, and documentation.
• Support with meals, dining experience, and psychosocial care.
• Maintain infection control and PPE usage, assist with transfers and ROM exercises.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff.
