Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset is a 128-bed facility providing long-term care, skilled nursing services, and restorative therapy. The Nursing Assistant supports residents with daily living activities under the supervision of an RN, delivering compassionate, resident-centered care in a faith-based, nonprofit setting.

You will assist with transfers, range of motion, meals, hydration, and documentation of care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification required or in process within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining.
• Document care and communicate changes to the nursing staff.
