The role involves coordinating with nursing and other departments, assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and promptly responding to call lights to ensure residents’ needs are met with compassion and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with the MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides care and explanation to Residents according to the ADL Care Plan
• Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges
• Communicates with Nursing Department co-workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents
• Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly
• Recognizes and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication from Residents
