Bedford Care Center provides direct care for long-term care residents, focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) to support residents’ well-being, comfort and safety. The role collaborates with the Nursing Department and other teams to meet residents’ needs, respond to call lights promptly, and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges as needed.

• Must have and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification

Responsabilidades

• Provides care and explanation to the Residents according to the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) Care Plan
• Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges
• Communicates with Nursing Department co-workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents
• Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly
• Recognizes and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication from Residents
