Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking experienced caregivers and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and specialized non-medical support in clients' homes. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and client-centered care within established care plans.

Ideal candidates bring CNA certification or proven caregiving experience, along with strong communication, reliability, and compassion for clients with complex needs. Training and ongoing support accompany a flexible, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and/or demonstrated professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting clients with dementia, Parkinson's, mobility or other advanced non-medical needs is strongly preferred.
• Compassionate, empathetic, patient and respectful approach to client care.
• Excellent communication, observation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow individualized care plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living within the care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence and dignity.
• Offer specialized non-medical care for clients with higher care needs as assigned.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall-prevention tasks.
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Monitor health changes and report them to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and support team.
• Follow care plans, policies, and confidentiality requirements.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities when requested.
