Job summary

CareBuilders at Home seeks experienced caregivers and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and specialized non-medical support for clients in their own homes. The role emphasizes dignity, privacy, and building trust with clients and families.

Qualified candidates may have CNA certification or demonstrable caregiving experience, with preference for those who have supported clients with dementia or mobility needs. Training and flexible scheduling are available.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or demonstrated professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Specialized certifications and experience may be considered for assignments and compensation.
• Experience supporting clients with dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, mobility needs, or other advanced non-medical care needs strongly preferred.
• Compassionate, empathetic, patient, respectful approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement while promoting independence.
• Provide specialized non-medical care for clients with complex needs.
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or well-being to supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings when requested.
