Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Auburn, NE seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, understand care plans, and provide compassionate, respectful care aligned with the residents’ needs.

The role requires a CNA credential (or state registration), a 75-hour CNA course, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Completion of a 75-hour nurse assistant course is required.
• Registered as a CNA and registered in the applicable state's Department of Health.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks delegated and indicated on the care plan under RN supervision.
• Understand basic elements of body functioning and changes including death and dying.
• Deliver age-appropriate care to physical and psychological needs per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing and eating.
