Job summary

Good Samaritan participates in Mandan Sunset, a 128-bed long-term care facility, providing resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and vital signs while following care plans and infection control policies.

The Nursing Assistant role supports a compassionate, faith-based, nonprofit environment with a focus on respect and meaningful connections with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board or in process.
• Minimum age 16; prior nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours CE required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, meals, and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
