Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of state-approved CNA program and passed competency exam within 120 days of employment
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nursing staff and residents as needed
• Assists residents with activities of daily living according to care plans
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents
• Coordinates dining room services during meals and assists with feeding
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake
• Tracks weight changes and notes skin condition and care needs
• Assists with toileting and completes flow sheets documenting progress
• Communicates changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor
