Job summary

Edmond Health Care Center is seeking a licensed CNA to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You will record observations, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support residents during exams and activities.

The role requires adherence to infection control and teamwork with the nursing staff. Candidate must have a valid CNA license, be able to read/write English, and work well in a collaborative, patient-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in an informative manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse/Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents with ADLs and daily care per care plan.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Monitor vitals, intake/output, and document findings in medical records.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
